6x4 Mixed Media Cards With Tutorial

Hi everyone :-)
Made some under the sea cards with my new stamps from designsbyryn.com and had so fun playing with different colors and mediums. The cards measure 6x4.

Made 4 cards :-)

I used my Misty stamping tool ( love it :-) and inked up the stamps with black Versa color.
Then I embossed with Tim Holtz clear embossing powder for all my fishes and the sea grass stamp.

Fish love :-)

For this card I first used Wow embossing powder on the 1. layer of the sea grass .

Then I used TH Distress spray over the stamped and embossed  images and Wink of Stella markers on top.

For this card I cut out the Wink of Stella colored fishes.
The embossed sea grass I used on the previous card I outlined with a black marker to give it some contrast.

Then I also outlined all the fussy cut out images with a Zig marker and used distress spray over to make them a bit darker. Used 3D foam under the fiches and sea grass to give the card  dimensional look.

I added glossy accent and distress glitter on the fish.

The background papers are sprayed with Distress sprays and some inked with Distress ink in different colors and then stamped.

Went around the card with distress ink to give it some depth.

Used a gel pen to highlight the bubbles and on one card I used glossy accent over.

Great to place down the fussy cut outs before stamping.
On this card I changed my mind ad put on 2 fishes instead.

These fishes are swimming on the sanded sea bottom.

On this card I was playing with different mediums over the sprayed panel .
First I used the new Crazing medium, added embossing powder and spray on top to make a sanding effect.

The fishes and sea grass is embossed like the others and then light distress inked to give the card contrast.

I used white and cream scraps for the and images.
The panels are outlined with different scrap leftovers that I inked to get the colors I wanted.
Then I cut 8x6 black cardstock and scored at 4 for the card base. Also cut out 5 3/4 x 3 3/4 cream cardstock for the inside to write to the receiver.

I had so fun playing with this wonderful stamps and different mediums :-)
