Graphic 45 World's Fair photo album in a Hot Air Balloon box stand - Free Measurements and Templates

 Hi everyone :-)
Have made a hot air balloon photo album with a box stand created with the beautiful and fun World's Fair collection from Graphic 45. Made this for Graphic 45 featured blog post and here is the link to my featured  projects on they`r blog ,

Here you can see the album next to the hot air balloon box stand.

Here the album is inside the box stand

Front of he album outside the box stand.
Have used the 12 x 12, 8 x 8, 6 x 6, pockets and tags, chipboard cut outs, stickers, ephemera cards and the coordinate stamp set for this album.

The balloon can be taken of the front of the album and placed on the box using magnets.
There are magnets under the front page and on the box stand to hod the balloon.

The box seen together with the album.
Made most of the photo mats to fit 6 x 4 photos and the pages are bounded together using seam binding colored with Broken China Distress spray.

1. page backside and 2. page front.
Have build up all the pages similar as a Layout.

The left photo made slides to the side using a brad under the top photo mat.
Right side foldes out.

2. page backside and 3. front side.
There are pockets inside the basket on all pages.

3 flip up photo mats on the right.

And 2 fold out photo mats on the right.

3. page backside and 4. page front.

2 photo mats slides out on the left side.

and the pocket flips up for more space for photos.

Right side also have flip out photo mats.

 4. backside page and 5. front page.

More flip out photo mats on the left side.

flaps that holds photo mats on the right.

And it folds out for more photos or journaling.

Kept the backside simple because there are magnets under the paper to hold the album in place in the box stand.

Front of the album and the backside of the box stand.

The box stand seen from the side.

Measure and templates for the pages, balloon and box stand.
Here I used a 12 x 12 paper to make the template. Score every half inch. Cut of 2 1/2 inch and add to the bottom. Follow the lines to make the template.
It would be great to know if these guidelines are helpful and then I can use it on future tutorials for curves also so you can make your self a template and then copy it up for future tutorials :-)
I used 5 pages in this album using 1mm chipboard and for binding the pages together I used seam binding about 1/2 inch between the pages fastened on the sides under the decor papers.

Template for the balloon. Draw lines like show on the picture and cut out 2 of each. I used 4 of the larges and did not use the innermost line.

Glue back to back together and cut of the extra from the previous paper.

Punch holes in the middle of each and add string. Rolled paper around a stick and add on the srings. Glue down to each side.

Make the basket using chipboard and add fold out hinges. Cut 2 inch and score every half inch. Cut in an angle to make the sides meet up. Add magnets to hold the basked in place.

Draw  a 1/2 inch around the template except the bottom for the box stand.
I added 3 layers of 1 mm chipboard together to make it study.

For the sides of the basket I cut out 8 x 1 5/8 paper. Glue down using Multi Medium Matte on chipboard and let it dry round and then cut at 4 inch for the sides and cut of the rest of the chipboard. Cut 4 x 1 3/4 for the front.

Glue down on a 3 inch by about 6 inch ( finish measurement ) chipboard and cut around.

Box stand with the balloon added with magnets.
It has always been I dream for me to come up in a hot ear balloon but creating one is the next best :-)

Photo album with the balloon added.
Hope this is helpful and inspiring :-)
