Hi everyone :-)
I am so happy to be featured on Graphic 45 again today :-)
As most of you know I love to create with their paper collections and I am having such a great time making different projects and gifts. There are so many opportunities with their collections and I am like a child in a candy store every time I get new collections and start right away fussy cut out the beautiful images :-)
Last week, we featured the incredible work of Anne Elisabeth Rostad in a two-part installment. Well, we're here at Part Two! And we are so excited to feature Anne's amazing work in our blog again today. These are projects that she has also shared on her own blog, so feel free to head on over to her original blog posts when you are done drooling over her creativity here. Her blog posts have extra information and templates for each project, so you are in for a treat! We will let Anne take it away again today. So honored to have the amazing Anne featured on our blog in this two-part highlight of her inspiring work!

"My name is Anne Rostad and I live in Norway and I am a mother of 2 grown up sons who gives me so much pleasure. Creating has been my all time passion . It started when I was a little girl and had fun making animals and houses from things I found in the wood. Later at school we learned how to sew in girls class and I did not like that at all since I had to follow recipe, so i asked to be in the boy`s class where i could make things out of wood, clay and metal. Think it was then i really started love creating. As the only girl in class l i got make whatever I wanted so I had a lot of fun. Later I found out that sewing was a lot f fun when I could make whatever I wanted without any recipe. Started scrapbooking for about 7 years ago and since then I have in love with this hobby. The 1. paper I bought from Graphic 45 was the Fashionista Haute Couture and then I was hooked and tried to find out where I could get more :-) There is so much fun to do with this gorgeous and versatile papers and I love creating 3D projects and mini albums with a lot of detail to bring the projects to life. Many of the techniques i used in quilting I could use with fussy cutting and layering so it is very much the same, but more possibilities with papers. I am so happy and thankful to be a featured artist on the G45 blog again and I also want to thank you all for your support over the years.
Have fun creating :-)
Hugs, Anne"
"Hi everyone :-)
Had so fun making this clock lamp with a mixed media photo album/ journal inside and used the new released Deluxe collector`s edition Communique papers from Graphic 45 again. There is also a sort of configuration box inside the book box Below you can find a tutorial with free templates on how to make this 3D chipboard clock lamp.Made it in a grunge style and wanted it to look old and worn.
Here is the link to he post where I show how to make the base for the clock lamp,
I used Ground espresso and vintage photo distress ink, Inka gold browngold to make this project a bit grunge and old looking :-)
Inside the book box middle part I made a sort of a configuration box with tiny mini albums and ephemera pieces.
Made some tiny paper books, decorated bottles and other fun things to put inside the book box. The tiny hat folds out like a little book.
Close up picture of the lamp shade. Used a Steel Structure base and covered the inside and outside with black cardstock before I added decor paper.
The box on the side holds some tags and this pencil that folds out for some journaling. The box can also be used to hold a phone.
There is also a little album in a "secret" room under the book box.
Here you can see the lighting. Picture taken in the evening.

The mixed media album from Graphic 45 is placed on the shelf under the clock and I did not decorate for a snug fit. Used a door knocker also from G45 for the handle.
There is 13 pages in this album so I did not use all the pages this album comes with. They are great to use for some other projects :-)
Take a look at the pages of this great album!
Made this lamp clock for my eldest son as a gift for his new house :-)
