Templates and Tutorial for the G 45 A Christmas Carol Christmas house and Mini Album

Hi everyone :-)
Here is a tutorial with measurements on how to make the A Christmas Carol Christmas house with a mini album inside. All the measurements depends on how thick your chipboard is. You can also use foam to build this house.

Video with a short tutorial for the mini album base pages start at 19 minutes in the video,

Front 5 1/2 x 6 1/2  plus the chipboard thickness x2
( Measurement on the picture is wrong )

Roof

Sides

Glue together with hinges ( I used black Bazzill cardstock )  inside and outside cut at 1 inch and score at 1/2 inch. The side parts in between the front and back. It helps to take some tape strips to hold it together when you glue on the hinges.

Cut the sides in an angle.

Glue the roof on with hinges inside and outside.

Take the angle of the roof to make the chimney on the roof.

Finish with the chimney, bottom and little front roof.

Measurements for the front roof.
Here you maybe have to adjust a bit depends on how thick your chipboard is and how you glue it all together.

side supports for the front roof.

Glue together with hinges and leave a bit on the top and bottom outside. Cut into the top and bottom in the middle and glue together in an angle and glue a chipboard inside to fit. Cut of the rest.

Fence on the sides is made out of 1/4 strips chipboard. It helps to have a strip of chipboard in the middle when gluing down the little pieces to get it straight.

Windows.

Back cover for the mini album fasten with magnets on the bottom plate to hold it in place.
You can also make this just as a mini album with regular cover and here is the link to my video tutorial on how to make it,

Template for the mini album pages. I used 4 of this and cut out 4 more 4 3/4 X 6 to make 24 pages.

The album can be folded out.

Or flip up and down.

Or one by one :-)

Album fastened with magnets on the bottom part.

Now it is ready to be decorated as you like.
Will post all the dies I used in the finish house and mini album post.Link bellow.

I used 6 Christmas tree cut outs for each tree. Score in the middle 3 on the right side and 3 from the backside to make them fit together when the shape is not the same on both sides. Fold in half and glue together back to back.

There is so much fun decor you can add to this house :-)

Finished without the lightning turned on.
I tore strips of paper to make the roof.

  3. Anne, Another beautiful, fantastic creation! You never cease to amaze me. When you say you use "vinyl" instead of tape on the hinge portion of the pages, what do you mean by "vinyl"? Is it a type of vinyl tape?

    Thank you so much.
