Christmas Advent Calendar Tutorial Featuring Graphic 45 Christmas Collections

Hi everyone :-)
Have made an Advent calendar with the beautiful A Christmas Carol and Twas the Night Before Christmas collection and some other older Christmas collections from Graphic 45. For the base I used the 4 Window shadow box that I got in my G45 package :-)

Video with tutorial on how to make the drawers. The tutorial start at 7 minutes in the video.

Added cotton on the roof to make it look like snow :-)
The Christmas garland is made out of paper.

Seen from thee side. All fussy cut outs are backed with black paper to make them study.

Backside. God Jul ( Merry Christmas) die from Kaboks.

Seen from the other side. 3D Christmas tree is a die from Marianne design.

Made 24 drawers. The number punch is from Martha Stewart and then I used 5/8 and 3/4 circle punches and backed with foam dots so it is easy to obtain.

Here in Norway we celebrate Christmas at the 24. evening but you can hang the 25. on the Santa.

Or on the tiny boxes inside the attic.

Love making scenes out of paper :-)

There is a fire place cut out of the paper line behind the boxes.
The die for the brick is from Die version and the campfire is from Poppystamps.

Two Santa's watching if the children have been good this year :-)

Love this images :-)

The base for the box.
Removed the plexi glass behind and Painted the 4 window shadow box black.
Then I replaced the plexi glass with black chipboard.

Measurements for the roof. Glue on top of the widow box using 1 inch strips of paper scored at 1/2.

Cut the chipboard to fit on the backside.

I used 1/4 thick foam covered with vinyl for the shelves so the box has 8 rooms.

Measurements for the chimney. Here you may be ave to adjust the measurements a bit depends on how you glue the roof angle together.

Measurements for the 24 gift drawers.
The middle drawer in each section I cut down to 4 5/8 x 5 using the same score lines to fit inside the shelves. Will show in the video how to make them.

Measurements for the columns. Glue together with hinges like the right on the picture.
Here you may be ave to adjust the measurements a bit depends on how Thick your chipboard is and how you glue it all together.

Glue the 3 1/2 x 10 bottom part on the window box and place the columns on each sides.
Now it is ready to be decorated :-)

Supply list:
Christmas collections and Window shadow box from Graphic 45, Chipboard ( I used 2,5 mm chipboard from Bazzill and 1 1/2  from left overs), Balck Bazzil cardstock, score board. Martha Stewart number punch and glue.
