Graphic 45 Rare Oddities configuration box tutorial

Hi everyone :-)

Here is a tutorial on how to make the Graphic 45 Rare Oddities configuration box.

Cut out the 12x12 Rare Oddities page and paper pierce the frame together using 2 sheets of paper.

This configuration box can also be used for other than Halloween projects :-)

Also cut out the top of the 8x8 Signature page.

Paper piece the pieces together by cutting out the same border on the right and glue it on to the right side. Then cut around.

Used a punch for the top.

Also added a couple of more shelves on the right side of the box

Glue on black cardstock 2-3 layers.

 I used Multi Medium Matte from Ranger to glue all the layers together.

Also cut the front of the drawers out 3 times on black cardstock to make them study.

Template for the drawer. I used black Bazzill cardstock.

Cut into the red lines and glue together. Then glue on the front on the short end.

 On the last layer cut like shown on the picture for hinges.

Score on each side so it will be easy to fold the hinges in.

I used 1,5 mm black chipboard from Bazzill for the sides and cut them at 2 inch deep and 9 1/2 long. 

Measure the insides to cut them as long as needed.Glue on with hinges.

Then I cut the inside panels to fit inside the long sides also 2 inch deep.

Bottom panels are cut at 5 inch deep for the drawers.Then I glued a chipboard piece in the middle for the drawers dividers.

Cut acetate to fit the box. I used acetate from Accucutcraft.

Decorated the inside with pattern papers before I glued the acetate on the backside with hinges on the sides.

I glued border strips on the inside of the edges before I glued the hinges on so the glue wont show up on the front.

 Cut out 1 1/2 inch wide chipboard to fit the length of the box on the top of the configuration part, then the backside about 11 x  9 3/4 to fit and the top to fit between about 3 x 9 3/4,

Cut about 2 x 1 1/2  and cut like show on the picture for the sides on top of the cofiguration part.

 I cut out one more top from the 12 x 12 paper and backed it 3 times with black cardstock. The last time with a hinge on the front.You can also cit out this shape on the backside chipboard and then you don`t have to glue it on the cardstock. I decided to add this later so I had do do it the hard way lol :-)

Glue it then on the backside pattern paper.

For the stand cut 9 x 4 1/2 for the bottom part. 3/4 x 9 for the long sides and 3/4 x 4 3/8 ( depends on how thick your chipboard is) for the short sides. Glue the sides on top of the bottom part with 1 inch hinges scored at 1/2

Now it is finish to be decorated :-)
