Fairytale Princess Castle for the Gilded Lily Mini Album

Hi everyone :-)
Have made a Fairytale Princess Castle with 2 lightning towers to hold the Graphic 45 Gilded Lily Mini Album. There is a tutorial here on my blog on how to make the base for this castle. It is all made out of chipboard and paper and decorated with pearl trim, die cut outs and flower pots. This castle would be fun to display in a little girls room and to store  pictures of the little princess in the album.

Video

The middle part can be made separate if you don`t want to take the time to make it all :-)

Close up picture of the entrance with a chipboard hanging sign.

Seen from the side.

Inside there is place for the mini album.

Seen with the album inside.

The other side. Used different Spellbunders dies for the borders on the sides and balcony `s.

And backside with a pocket to hold a card and the loose inside blanket.

4x6 card for the princess receiver.
Crown die from Marianne Design.

On the top I made a crown for the princess :-)

I cut out 10 pieces of Bazzill cardstock. Folded them in half and glued them back to back around.
Used Tim Holt distress spray and inka gold to make a pink vintage color.

The 2 princess towers. There can also be stored some jewelry inside the towers.

Made some curtains out of lace for the window.

Electric light inside with dancing ladies and gents around :-)

Made 2 crowns out of the border strips to go around the lights.

The closed castle with the 2 towers

Here the doors are open to display the mini album inside.

Without the mini album the princess ladie can bee seen in the background.

Here with the album and card on the sides.

Had so fun making this sweet and girly castle :-)

  9. Wow.. very beautiful! I may have to take this on! I noticed the link to Tarastudio! I have been SUCH a huge fan of her work for years now. I was actually shocked when I learned that she had not been crafting long. She is such a talented woman! Her eye for detail is unreal. I can see why you guys would have a common ground since yours is as well. She also loves, like you, to make 3D type stuff. But when I saw this post and the castle with all those pearls, all I could think was how it reminded me of her work. I actually joke with her that she should buy stock in wherever she buys all of her pearls!

as always your work leaves me speechless. I don't know how you do it but each and everything you do is beyond breathtaking. G45 should pay you way more than just the usual DT stuff because you are worth every penny. I love how you share this with the rest of us. THANK YOU>
