Hi everyone :-)
Made a recipe card for a friend that wonted my apple cake recipe with the gorgeous Home Sweet Home collection from Graphic 45. This paper line is so great for all home related things and when a friend of me asked for my apple cake recipe I decided to make her a card :-) The recipe is fastened on a rolling pin to give it some dimension.
This is a very good cake Mmmm and you will find the English and Norwegian version bellow.
My best apple pie recipe
( used Google translate here so I hope it translated the words right )
300 grams of butter
270 grams brown sugar Stir together
300 gram flour
2 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoon vanilla sugar mixed with sugar and butter mixture.
Spread half the dough into a 28 cm round shape
Part 5-6 apples into wedges and spread the mold.
Approximately 1 dl raisins distributed over the apples.
sprinkle with about 1 to 2 teaspoon cinnamon
Distribute the rest of the pie dough. It goes easily with a tablespoon dipped in water.
Sprinkle about 1 deciliter chopped almonds and a little brown sugar
Bake 170 degrees for about an hour with a hot air oven or little longer in conventional oven but reduce the heat slightly.
Serve with ice cream and warm vanilla cream.

Min beste eplekake oppskrift
300 gram smør
270 gram brunt sukker Røres sammen
300 gram hvetemel
2 teskje bakepulver
2 teskje vanilje sukker blandes sammen med sukker og smør blandingen.
Fordel halve deigen i en 28 cm rund form
Del 5 - 6 epler i båter og fordel i formen.
Cirka 1 desiliter rosiner fordeles over eplene.
strø på cirka 1 - 2 teskje kanel
Fordel resten av kakedeigen over. Det går lett med en spiseskje dyppet i vann.
Strø på cirka 1 desiliter hakkede mandler og litt brunt sukker
Stekes 170 grader i cirka en time med varmlufts ovn eller litt lenger i vanlig ovn men sett ned varmen litt.
Serveres med is og varm vaniljekrem.

That cake sounds lovely but over 500g of sugar!!! I will have to think of some substitutions maybe. Love the recipe card idea. I am planning some Home Sweet Home projects too. thanks for your great Blog.ReplyDelete
