Sneak peek of my upcoming Artisan Style photo album

Hi everyone :-)
It has been a while since I posted a project so I thought I would share what I am working on.
This is going to be a large photo album with a lot of space for photos and journaling inside hidden pockets and flaps.I am using the beautiful new Artisan Style from Graphic 45 for this album.
Have now binding the pages together and now for the fun decorating fun :-)

Had to wait so long for this beautiful Artisan Style paper collection from Graphic 45 so I started right away to fussy cut out the images. Here you see the flowers from Natural Beauty sheet and there are so many fun ways to put this beautiful flowers together :-)

Peek of the photo album in progress

This is going to be a large one and having so fun decorating it. Not finish yet as you can see:-)
Dies on this pictures are from Tattered lace, Tim Holtz and Cheery Lynn.

I often get questions on how long time it takes to fussy cut out images and this time I know because I sat a week cutting the images out because I wanted to have them fast finish so I could start creating my album.Usual I fussy cut in the evenings but i could not wait lol. Here are some of them :-)

So many beautiful flowers in this paper line :-)

When I cut out I try to have a tray near by so I don`t get paper all over the floor lol.
There was so many beautiful colors and I thought that it could be used for something so I filled the tray with some water and let it soak into the paper pieces.

Then I layered it out on a craft mat and used multi matte medium all over.
It became a new thick fun paper :-)
No idea what I am going to use it for lol but it came out pretty cool and can maybe be used for a roof or flower garden.

It has been some beautiful sunny days here in Norway now so I have spent some days in my garden now but hope to get the album finish soon :-)

Hi everyone :-)
Here are some pictures of the Graphic 45 Home Sweet Home 5 x 5 Mini Album.
This album can be used for a photo album or recipe album with pictures. There are 4 pages and also some more added in between the pages.

Video

Have made a video tutorial on how to make the pages and decorate them
and will post te link here as soon it is uploaded :-)

Front of the album is quite clean and simple. Just have a focal point Using Tim Holtz
Ornate Plate with TH sticker alphabet spelling My recipes.
Chain is for easy to pull the album out of the box and also for some more decor :-)

Inside the front cover and 1. front page.
Tryed to coordinate all the pages and here I went for red.

Tags for yournal photos or recipes.

There are same flips on all the pages for more yournaling, photos or recipes.
Used the We R Memory Keepers envelope notcher to make the slots on the sides to easy pull out the
card for recipes.

The pages are bounded to the inside spine with stretch cord and here there
easy can be taken in more pages.

1. page back and 2. page front. Green theme :-)

Did some fun fussy cutting and there are so many fun images to cut out from this
gorgeous paper line  to use for decor :-)

Inside the flaps.

In between the 2. page.

Green and blue 2. page back and 3. page front.

Used the 6x6 paper pad for all the matting

Inside the flaps. Glued the sign only on top so a note can slide under and be hold in place.

Inside the 3. middle page.

Red and blue 3. page back and 4. page front.

Some of the fussy cut outs are backed with black cardstock to make a
more depth and make them study.

Inside the red flaps.

4. page middle. Lots of room for pictures and journaling here.

Yellow and blue 4. backside page and backside cover.

All the large cream tags are the same through the album.

The last flap and on the cower I attach a clip to hold some notes.

Here you can see the album folded out with the flaps open.

Seen from the top with cord stretchy binding.

Here you can see all the extra cream pages attach in between all the black base pages.

Seen from the front.

Had so fun making this project and hope it is a bit inspiring :-)

Graphic 45 Home Sweet Home Spice Shelf with a recipe Mini Album inside

Hi everyone :-)
Have made a Spice Rack with a recipe 5x5 Mini Album inside using the gorgeous Home Sweet Home Paper collection from Graphic 45. This was so fun to make and there will be a tutorial for the pages inside the album and a blog tutorial for the base of the spice rack. It can be used as a space rack or as a configuration box.The base is made out of the 8x8 matchbook box also from G45.

Video

Hanging on the wall with kitchen tools.

Video of the spice rack and mini album

Here you can see it just plain without any decor.

The space rack measure 13 inh hay and 15 1/2 inch wide.

Here the album is taken out.
Have 5 magnets on the back of the album so it will stay in place inside.

Lot of room for recipes and photos in the album.

I filmed the 4. page when I made it so there will be a tutorial for the page base,
making tags and how to decorate it

Love the colors in this paper line :-)

The album fits perfect inside the space in the middle of the box.

Also made a drawer that can be used for spices.

So fun making tiny decor with the papers :-)

Most of the bottles are from Tim Holtz and I glued labels cut out from the papers and backed them with black cardstok. Used glossy accent and it holds really good on glass.

The iron I found on Ebay and it is a pencil sharpener Painted it black and went over with brown  Inka Gold.

Also found the pencil sharpener coffee grinder on Ebay and most of the wooden miniatures are from Panduro Hobby.

Made this for a good friend that has a cabin. She likes clean and simple so I made all the decor loose so they can be taken out if she like to :-)

Decorated some spice boxes I found in my food store.

Plain with the album.

Made some paper inserts for the shelves so they can be taken out with the decor attach on.

So fun making this tiny miniatures and decor :-)

Also layered the vegetables to make them pop up in 3D.

Used Fiskars edge punch for the box decor.

Also made some tiny books with pages inside for some notes :-)
They are from 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 inch hay and closes with a belly band that can be taken off.

Have 2 hooks on the backside for hanging but just took some twine to hang it up with for the pictures so I only could use one nail lol

And one more close up picture :-)

Hope you enjoyed this looong blog post :-)
