Boxed mini album featuring Graphic 45 Once upon a springtime

Hi everyone :-)
Have a new project to share with you all and made this fairy tale shadow box with a mini album inside. Used the beautiful Once upon a springtime collection from Graphic 45 and I had a lot of fun fussy cut out all the images and they have all been glittered up with Diamond and Mercury Glass stickles from Ranger so it will be fun for a little girl to look at :-)

Video with short tutorial for the base of the mini album pages.

The tutorial on how to make the base of the mini album starts at 13.45 minutes in the video.

Have layered all the images to give them a 3D look :-)

When the box opens there is a fairy tale garden inside the lid with a expandable pocket to hold pockets and other things. Tree dies from Memory Box. A mini album fastened on the bottom.

Have formed the pages round a roll to make them stand up a bit.

Seen from the side. Used seam binding to hold the lid.

Scenes from the fairy tale garden.
Key hole and keys also from Graphic 45.

Left side . Fence die from LaLa Land Crafts and grass die from Memory box.

And right side

So fun fussy cut out all this beautiful images and puzzle them together :-)
Have backet them all on cream cardstock to make them more durable.

Here you can see how the pages bend up.

Some of the images are glued to the pages and some on tags that sticks under on the sides of the pages.

All the tags taken out of the pages.

There can be plased photos on or on the backside of the cut aparts.

There is also place for photos on the pages, but here I thought it would be fun to print out stories and place them on the pages :-)

Under the pages on each side there are more fairies and a photo frame.

Made a support onder on the backside so the box can be displayed in an angle.

Here you can see the folded in under the box. It is fastened with magnets.

Folds up and there is a " hidden" photo mat under :-)

Corner die from Cheery lynn and  wood gate from Kaisercraft

Seen from the other side.
Made the banner with a Stampin up punch.

Just love this beautiful paper line :-)
Templates and measurements for the box.

Made 5 pages and they measure 9 x 7 for the 1 page. 2. page 9 1/4 x 7 and increase with 1/4 inch for each page and score in the middle. Set a mark every 1/2 inch in the middle and sew the pages together with the back hinge. glue the back hing to the chipboard and cover with pattern paper over on each side

Here are a couple of video tutorials on how I glue chipboard boxes together,

Here is my fussy cut video tutorial,

  20. Ciao Anne
    Anna Maria
