Hi everyone :-)
Here is a requested shabby chic tassel tutorial. Will first show how to make a regular tassel and then a large shabby chic tassel with lace crystals and pearls.
This is a great way to use up some lace, seam binding and ribbons. Hope you can use this idea and make one for your self from your left overs :-)

This tassels can be used for many different things such as curtain holders, pillow decorations or just as decor by it self.
These where fo fun to make so I had to make one more :-)
Painted a cameo and added Diamond stickles from Ranger. Used a cameo applique from Annie`s shop.
Thread some beads and half pearls on the hanging seam binding.
On the sides I glued down a couple of Rhinestone leaf trim from One little dreamer and in the center a acrylic flower on a cameo applique from Annie`s Etsy shop.

ReplyDeleteFound you from Pinterest. Lovely tassel, great tutorial. One question: I couldn't understand what you called the bow-maker used for the bows front and back. Would love to know what it was. Thanks.
