How to make a chipboard dog house mini album holder part 2

Hi everyone :-)
Here is part 2 on how to make a chipboard dog house stand from start to finish for the mini album
using the wonderful Raining Cats and dogs collection from Graphic 45.
In this 2. part I will show how to Decorate the house finish with magnetic windows flip outs for more photos.

Also photo mats and place for journaling on the other side.

The other side is the same with a little dog sitting in the window smelling some flowers :-)

The chipboard on the roof can be flipped out and there are some tags on the backside.

The album is hanging inside the roof.


And he house can be taken of the stand.

There will be one more part for this tutorial series and that is a little accordion mini album to go in the little room on the backside



Supply list
Raining Cats and dogs 12 x 12 - 8 x 8 and 6 x 6. Chipboard cut outs, Ornate metal label holder, all from Graphic 45. Black cardstock. 2mm chipboard,I am using Bazzill Prismatics. Black electric cord tape,magnets,glue,score board,black paint,3D foam ( pop dots ), Bone die from Joy Crafts and 4 metal feet from Tim Holtz

    Anne, this entire project is absolutely stunning! I can't tell you just how much you've inspired me. I've learned so much from watching your tutorials -- I confess I spent the entire afternoon curled on the sofa with my dogs watching the series. I confess I skimmed through some parts but the construction hints you gave were fabulous.

    Memory books and mini albums are my passion, along with luminaria. I've made half a dozen albums over the past month and wish that I had found your web site long before now. ;)

    I have also been using reinforced tape (Duck Tape) on seams and bindings. Ours comes 2 inches wide but it rips quite nicely. One roll lasts forever since you use so little with each project. Can you not get it in Norway? If you can't, if you email me your address, I'll mail you a couple of rolls. You'll love it, and you'll love how easy it is to work with. I tried the electrical tape but found it too narrow, messy to use, and so hard to get off the roll.

    One of my closest friends got a new puppy today and I was looking for ideas for something to make her for the puppy when I found your "dog house" album. I don't happen to have this particular paper pack (I adore Graphic45 but it figures that I didn't order this one) so I will have to make it out of other card stock and papers that I have but with any luck, it will be lovely and my friend Linda will love it. I'll post a photo with a link to yours when it's done.

    Thanks again for so much valuable information. And now I have to go back and look at the construction information for putting the album into the roof. I think that I skimmed past that. ;(

    Do you ever have problems with tags and things falling out into the box with the album suspended as it is???
