6x6 Christmas card tutorial using Diesire create a card die - tutorial

Hi everyone :-)

Here is a quick and easy Christmas card tutorial using Crafters Companion  Die'Sire Diesire Create A Card Die - O'Holy Night Christmas Classiques  ,cardstock, paint, and some shiny sprays. 

 Showing 2 different background techniques. 

 Card with sparkly stars.

 Used the die for a mask and used inka gold over after I cut it out and dry embossed the card in my machine.

It is great to use plastic over the box before I close it up to prevent it dry out .

Painted white cardstock with blue paint sumi - E watercolor set from Yasutomo. 

Darker in the top to lighter to the bottom. You can also use plain cardstock here.

To get it more sparkly I used Lindystampgang spray.

Love Tim Holtz mirror stars and used 5 on the top of the scene on one of the cards.

Here I used the color bloom spray from Prima and brushed the spray with a wide paint brush .

Love this cobalt color :-)

The top layer is made the same way as the previous card but with a bit less inka gold.

Base for the card cut 12 x 6 and score at 6.

Glue the Christmas scene on top either sideways or as a standing up card

The scene is a bit smaller so I just cut of the rest around after it was glued on the front.

 Here you also can use glossy accent and distress glitter over the stars.

Finish card.

There is also a small angel die in this set and this can be placed on top of the card or inside :-)

Used the angel die inside with God Jul ( merry Christmas ) die from Kaboks.

                                                Cut out 5 3/4 x 5 3/4 for the inner panels.
