Hi everyone :-)
This post is a copy of Graphic 45 farewell post for me.
Have been on G45 design team for a year now and I am so grateful for all the fun I had using they`r papers and staples. There have been some questions why I did not go for an other year and that is because I need some time this summer to do other things, but I still will be creating with G45 gorgeous papers that I love so much in rainy days.
From September I will be creating full time again :-)
Thanks to all at G45 for this wonderful journey and also a big thanks to my followers for your kind support :-)
Big hugs, Anne
A FOND GRAPHIC 45 FAREWELL TO ANNE ELISABETH ROSTAD
Today we celebrate the magnificent work of Anne Elisabeth Rostad. Anne has been an inspiration for many G45ers. She's so generous with her incredible tutorials and her fabulous, intricate, and beautifully detailed projects. Her style is so unique and her creations are a gorgeous sight to behold. We are going to miss Anne on our Design Team greatly, but we know she will keep creating and sharing wonderful ideas with her followers. Today, we will be sharing altered art, tag albums, and a few highlights from her time with us on the Design Team.
"I live in Norway and I am a mother of 2 grown up sons who lives nearby me :-) Creating has been my all time passion . It started when I was a little girl and had fun making animals and houses from things i found in the wood. Later at school we learned how to sew i girl's class and I did not like that at all since I had to follow recipe, so i asked to be in the boy`s class where i could make things out of wood, clay and metal. Think it was then i really started to love creating. As the only girl in class l i got make whatever i wanted so I had a lot of fun :-) Later I found out that Sewing was a lot of fun when I could make whatever I wanted without any recipe. Started scrapbooking for about 4 - 5 years ago and since then i have been hooked on this hobby :-) When I first saw the Graphic 45 papers and got my hands on them I was in heaven. So much fun to do with this gorgeous and versatile papers and many of the techniques i used in quilting I could use with fussy cutting and layering so it is very much the same, but more possibilities with papers. I am so happy to be a part on G45 DT and will have so much fun creating with all this wonderful papers and staples :-)" ~Anne
First, let's see a beautiful Couture sewing kit and mini book she created for Winter CHA. This is a project never-before-seen! So exciting!
"Hi everyone :-) I made this travel sewing box and mini album book for Graphic 45 CHA winter 2014. I used the beautiful Couture collection and 5 x 3 match boxes. I had so much fun fussy cut out the images and most of the images are pop up with pop dots ( 3D foam) and covered with Claudine Hellmuth multi matte.
Here is the front of the book that holds a mini album inside. Used the drawer from the match box and cut out chipboard covers for front and back. The spine is made from a empty kitchen paper towel. Great to use since it already is rounded.
Just cut out a piece from it to fit the sides. Fussy cut out the images and made a stick pin. Lace flower and black feather. the peacock die is from Magnolia." ~Anne
Anne always has so much detail throughout her projects. Don't you just love this?
Supply list:
Couture collection, 2 5x3 match boxes,Coredinations signature paper pad, dress form, vintage buttons, seam binding, lace, sewing accessories, feather, dies, acetate, Claudine Hellmuth multi matte, blackzig pen, glossy accent, stemens, 3D foam, black paint, chipboard, kitchen paper towel and magnets
Here's another never-before- seen project from Anne! This is a lovely A Ladies' Diary tag and photo frame. It's such a great idea and she provides the base tutorial below!
"Hi everyone :-)
So fun using the Staples tags from Graphic 45 in different ways and here I made a photo frame that also can be used as a frame with a book mark in the front behind this gorgeous lady. In center of the flowers, necklace skirt and feathers I used glossy accent and distress dry glitter."
Base Tutorial
Take 2 large tags and cut one of them in half.
Hinges are cut at 1 1/4" and score at 1/5" and 3/4".
Glue on the inside on both 1/2 inch so it is 1/4 between each.
"It is great to make a template of the tag and use repositionable tape on the back.
Then you just can place the template on your paper and cut around.
For the hole I used a 1/5 inch circle punch, but if you don't have that you can use the top of a marker or so and drew around."
Supply list:
A Ladies diary paper collection, cardstock cut outs and 2 large tags from Graphic 45, May Arts ribbon,Spellbinders die, Marianne Design die, Glue, Score pall, Claudine Hellmuth multi matte, Zig pen, cardstock lace and magnets
Here's a beautiful A Ladies' Diary Bookmark that she has shared with us before in the past, but we just love it! It shows her ability to think outside of the box when it comes to projects. It's not just a tag, it is a bookmark and unfolds holding many more treasures!
