Graphic 45 how to make a Couture gift paper handbag tutorial

Hi everyone :-)

Here is a tutorial start to finish on how to make a gift paper handbag with the beautiful Couture paper collection from Graphic 45

Have a magnet under the cardstock cut out for closing the bag.Colored it with black Zig pen. Used Claudine Hellmuth multi matte for the fussy cut outs to make them durable and all the images and papers are outlined with black Zig pen. Ribbon from May Arts.

(This was really an accident placing it here under the flap but then the receiver get a surprise when she open the bag:-)

The gorgeous lady is only glued down in top and bottom so there is place for a tag or card under.

Measurements

2 - 12 x 12 patterned papers

Score at 1/2 - 3 1/2. Turn around and score at 2 ( 1 inch if you will save a strip for the handle. Then you cut the paper at 11 x 12)

Cut of the x and cut the bottom line at 3 1/2 inch up to the meeting score line.

Score tape is strong and great to use for gluing the papers together.

Then glue the other hinge together with the other side.

Fold the flaps and glue together.

Measurements for the handle and bottom reinforce

Make an arrow on the ends of the handles and glue on. Also use brads or staples if you are going to have some heavy stuff inside.

Score tape and board, May arts Ribbon, Xyron glue dots, magnets, Claudine Hellmuth multi matte and a black marker.
