G45 Couture purse box with cards - Purse Box tutorial

                                                                     Hi everyone :-)

Made this purse out of chipboard to store some cards I made. Love this Couture  paper collection from Graphic 45 and had so much fun creating this purse and  6 x 4 cards with envelopes.

Flower on the front is made from the cardstock cutouts and the flower stamen is from a Nellie Snellen punch with a pearl in the center.

Metal closure for the box inside.

Cards stores on one side and envelopes on the other side of the box.

Inside without the cards.

Purse, 7 cards and 7 envelopes.

2 blue cards

With matching envelopes.
Spellbinders die for the label.

Inside the cards I used stamp set number 3.

2 Green cards with Cottage cuts window and gate die.
Flower from the cardstock cut outs together with an EK success flower punch. Stamped ower with stamp set 3 border.

Inside the green cards with the same stamp set.

2 Red cards. Saved the frames when I fussy cut and used them here on the cards.

Inside the 3 red cards

One more red card. Had to use this beautiful lady on one of the cards :-)

With matching envelope.

Measurements for the purse box
Cut out 2 of this in chipboard

I used one smaller side for the envelopes and a larger for the cards.
For the smaller side I cut out the sides at 1 x 6 1/4 and 1 x 4 1/8 but you can make both the sides the same if you like:-)

Glued together with 1 inch black cardstock hinges. Scored at 1/2 and glued on inside and outside to make it study. Used a strip of Tyvek envelope to bind them together. Xyron sticker maker is great to use for glue the  Tyvek envelope hinge on.Went over with a black marker to hide the white.
Then glue it on the purse all the way down.

G45 A Proper Gentleman tag photo display - Base tutorial tag series 2

Hi everyone :-)
So fun using the Staples tags from Graphic 45 in different ways and here I made a photo frame.
Made this tag photo display for a manly gift idea.
Used A Proper Gentleman papers and also some from other collections for the background papers , staples tags and key hole from Graphic 45. May Arts black ribbon behind the key hole.

Graphic 45 Design Team project and here is the link to they`r blog site,
http://g45papers.com/

Video

Fussy cut out the man, hat and scarf. The hat on the tag and the key hole holds the tags together.
The fussy cut outs are covered with Claudine Hellmuth Multi matte and outlined with a Zig pen. A little pocket watch is fastened on a chain and magnet behind.

Fussy cut out the clock and chain and placed hinge behind the chain for the tag.

There is a magnet placed behind the clock and the hat makes a secret pocket.

Here is how it can be displayed with some pictures inside.

Also place on the backside for a picture

Different ways to combine tags - Tutorial

2 large tags and one regular. Cut off 1 1/2 for the middle part. Round the corners at the bottom and use the cut off piece as a template.

Glue on hinges inside. The left hinge is cut at 1 3/8 and score at 1/2 from each side.
The right hinge is cut at 1 1/2 and score at 1/2 on each side.Cut around as show on the picture.

Now it should look like this folded :-)

It is grate to make a template of the tag and use repositionable tape on the back.
Then you just can place the template on your paper and cut around.
For the hole I used a 1/2 inch circle punch, but if you dont have that you can use the top of a marker or so and drew around
Supply list:
A Proper gentleman collection, key hole, 2 large and one regulartags tag from Graphic 45,  Glue, Score pall, cardstock,  Claudine Hellmuth multi matte, Zig pen,May Arts black ribbon  and magnets

Hope this was helpful and a bit inspiring!

G45 Couture mini album book match box and travel sewing math box

Hi everyone :-)
Made this travel sewing box and mini album book for  Graphic 45 CHA winter 2014.
Used the beautiful Couture collection and 5 x 3 match boxes.
Had so much fun fussy cut out the images and most of  the images are pop up with pop dots ( 3D foam) and covered with Claudine Hellmuth multi matte

Here is the front of the book that holds a mini album inside.
Used the drawer from the match box and cut out chipboard covers for front and back.
The spine is made from a empty kitchen paper towel. Great to use since it already is rounded.
Just cut out a piece from it to fit the sides. Fussy cut out the images and made a stick pin. Lace flower and black feather. the peacock die is from Magnolia.

Video

Also cut out some strips from the  paper towel to make the book look more realistic.

Tiny mini album inside that measure 2 1/2 x 4 5/8. Great for 2 x 3 photos or cutout images from larger photos.

The album is fastened with magnets inside so it can be taken out and displayed on a table or shelf.
Front of the mini album.
Used red Coredinations paper  for the base of this album.
Cut out 2 strips 4 5/8 x 12 .
 Scored at 2 3/8 - 2 1/2 - 4 7/8 - 5 -7 3/8 - 7 1/2 - 9 7/8 and 10.
Save 1/" inch on one of the strips and glue together

Box without the album.

Also some fussy cut outs inside.
Under the red paper there are some magnets to hold the album.

Instead of gluing the back chipboard on I made it as an extra little secret room for some photos.
Fastened with magnets.

The album can be displayed like this

Or this side

 Or out of the box.

 Travel sewing box.
This can be taken with on a trip or just be used as a configuration box.
Made a fan out of the 6 x 6 papers and scored it every 1/4 inch.
Seam binding bow on a chipboard cut out and a chipboard button, Laser dress form cut out from Gina Designs and black rose trim. Acetate glued on under the paper on the front.

Made a flower from the cardstock cut outs and this can be taken of if I want to have it with me when I travel.

On the backside i used the stickers to spell out the words.
Tags from a Sizzix die and banner from the chipboard cut outs.

It can also be displayed like so.

Inside the drawer there is a scissor, thread, needles, buttons and more.
All you need for a travel sewing kit :-)
The scissor is fastened with seam binding and I used a ruler ribbon to hold the other pieces in place
