Tim Holtz Steampunk Grunge Bookends with a tiny mini album

Hi everyone :-)

Made to more bookends and this are in a more grunge steampunk style.Wanted them to look like it has been in the ocean for 100 years
So fun to create with Tim Holtz papers, equipment and dies :-)

Video

Used a lot of different mixed media products such as paint, distress powder, distress ink, alcohol ink, molding paste and Idea rust medium

Inside the right bookend there is a liquor cabinet.

They can also e displayed as configuration boxes.

Left bookend.

Both bookends have drawers build in the stand and in this there is a tiny mini album.
2 1/2 x 2 1/2

The album is made out of 2 strips of papers  2 1/4 x 12 and scored at every 2 1/2 inch.
Then I used some different punches for photo frames and glued together with hinges so there are pockets on the top for tags.

Close up picture of the top. Made a clock from a gear cut out and an arrow on the side. A little booklet box and bottle all from Tim Holtz. The wheel is from a car building set.

Close up picture of the left bottom.

Made a suite case out of chipboard and used twine and embossing powder to make it look old.
Tag from CTH tag die.

Inside there is a bookmark clock.

The bookmark is magnetic so it will stay in place.

Here you can see the rust effect.

Right bookend

Industrielle secrets!!
Used TH Arch frames to make a  liquor cabinet and it opened with pulling the chain.

Inside the liquor cabinet there is some bottles filled with liquor for emergency case lol

without the bottles.

Used TH labels tag from a die and have some distressed twine around. Also used Idea rust medium on the bottles and corks.

Close up picture of the bottom. The film clock I got from my friend Linda :-)

Ubder the corked domes there is an other bottle for emergency lol.

Also a corked dome on the top with a light bulb inside. Love the film strip from TH :-)

The dome and clock is fastened on the chain.

In the drawer there is an other magnetic bookmark. Used the metal clock keys for both the drawers.
