G45 By The Sea lighthouse photo album

Hi everyone :-)

Made this lighthouse to display pictures of my children from when we where by the sea when the children was young. We all loved to have the holiday by the sea with they`r grandparents house and also in boat so I thought a lighthouse would be perfect to store those pictures in:-)
The By The Sea papers from Graphic 45 was perfect for this project.
Papers can soon be found at Kreativ Scrapping

Video

Made the lighthouse from medium weight chipboard and it is about 20 inch hay.
Norwegian pennant on the top.
Lantern from Tim Holtz

Used fine sand and tiny stones mixed with Claudine Hellmuth pulti matte and glued them on the bottom part. Also used some larger stones and shells.

There are 12 pages 9 1/4 x 4 1/4 that folds out from each side and when I turn the lighthouse there are photos on the other side as well.24 sides total.
Fastened on a round stick that I skewed on so it is study.

Made a lifebuoy from cardstock with stamped Brekkestø.
( Plase where we had holiday with they`r grandparents )

Had a lot of fun making it :-)

Cute images fussy cut out from the papers :-)
Tried to find pictures of my children here but did not have any that fits so then it is great that the papers had some images :-)
Also made a braided twine roll.

  17. Anne, I came back to let you know that you inspired me to create one of these albums. I have a sister who is obsessed with lighthouse. She happens to have a birthday in a week, so I created a lighthouse and sent it off to her. Thank you so very much for sharing your incredible project!
