The Twelve Days of Christmas tag mini album / photo display - Base tutorial Tag series 3

Happy new year everyone and i hope you all had a wonderful Christmas:-)

Having so fun playing with tag staples in different ways. Here I made a Christmas tag mini album that also can be displayed on a shelf.
Used the beautiful Twelve Days of Christmas collection from Graphic 45 and chose to make it a bit vintage with regular Christmas colors

This album can open from both sides and on this front I used a chipboard cut out from the collection and it is fastened wit a magnet.Lot of fun fussy cutting and all the cut outs are covered with Claudine Hellmuth Multi matte and outlined with a Zig pen.
The Happy Christmas die is from Cheery Lynn. Used twine ribbon on the top.
All is distressed with vintage photo and black soot from Tim Holtz

The papers can be found at Kreativ Scrapping

Here is the link to Graphic 45 blog,http://g45papers.typepad.com/
And here is the link to G45 Pinterest page for inspiration,
May Arts ribbon,
And here is the link to my other Christmas tag album,

Here are some pictures how the album can be displayed.
The door is a Sizzix door die.

Used cardstock pockets and tags cut out from the paper collection.

The center tag has a pocket with some tags and triangle pockets with tags on the next tags.

Tags taken out

Seen from the other side

The album can be displayed in a lot of fun ways.

All folded out.
The middle tag has 2 triangle pockets fastened with a magnet and the next  have pockets made from the left overs I cut of this tags. Used banners from the carstock cut outs.

Can also be displayed like this.

Triangle pockets folds out.

Her both the front sides are showing.

Folded out zig zag

without the tags

Different ways to combine tags - Tutorial

3 large tags and 2 regular. Cut 1 1/2 inch of 2 large tags.
Round the corners at the bottom and use the cut off piece as a template.

Hinges for binding the tagstogether
Cut  1 1/4 strips and score at 1/2 from each sides Turn the 2 tags that has been cut of  opposite ways.
glue the hinges ( on the 1/2 inch lines ) on the front and on the back and cut around as how in the picture.
That leaves 1/4 inch on each tag to build and decorate the album.

Fold like show in the picture. Now it is finish to be decorated

It is grate to make a template of the tag and use repositionable tape on the back.
Then you just can place the template on your paper and cut around.
For the hole I used a 1/2 inch circle punch, but if you don`t have that you can use the top of a marker or so and drew around

Supply list:
The Twelve days of Christmas collection, cardstock and chipboard cut outs, 3 large and 2 regular tags from Graphic 45, twine ribbon,Sheery Lynn die, distress inks,
Sizzix door die, Glue, Score pall, cardstock, Claudine Hellmuth multi matte, Zig pen,  and magnets

Hope this was helpful and a bit inspiring!
Have fun creating :-)
Hugs, Anne

  7. I am excited about your card ideas. It would be so much fun crafting. Would love to add them on my Pinterest board. Despite the numerous digital cards, I may say I am still a fan of handmade Christmas cards . God bless you in all you do!

  8. I'm just getting into albums after 25 years of stamping. I'm constantly using your site and videos as a resource. Currently I am working on your beginners album, but I own 4 tag die sets from Elizabeth Crafts that I want to use in mini albums. Thank you so much for your inspiration and demonstrations and ideas.
