Shabby chic lamp makeover Pion Design GDT project

Hi everyone :-)
Had an old lamp that did not fit any more so I decided to give it a make over.
It was original brown metal with a brown shade.
Added a new shade with seam binding wrapped around and added a image from Grandmas attic tinted bouquet PD 3104 that I copy to printable inkjet fabric sheet. Used seam binding for the bow and cheese cloth hanging on each side of the image. Painted the lamp white and went random over with inka gold. Laces was given to me by Linda and Annie :-)

  2. So lovely Anne! What a great makeover… I thought the shade had a concertina fold until you showed how you used seam binding to wrap it! Brilliant! So pretty - also love the way you added glitter and flakes to the base. The lace trim makes it look like a delicious cake with frosting!
