G45 The Twelve Days of Christmas Layouts in a 12 x 12 matchbox

Wish you all a wonderful Christmas and Holiday season  :-)

Made this layouts to go in the 12 x 12 matchbox for a dear friend.
Had so fun working with this beautiful 12 Days of Christmas collection from Graphic 45.
Only used the 12 x 12 papers and because of the layering I for the most used 3 of each.
It is build up on medium weight chipboard and there is on side on the front and one on the back of the chipboard. All is distressed with white paint dabber and  White Pan Pastel. All the fussy cut outs are covered with Claudine Hellmuth Multi Matte
Decorated a 12 x 12 matchbox to store them in and it also create a frame around the layouts.
It can also be fun to make one LO each year and decorate the front with some more new papers for every new Christmas collection.

Here is the matchbox without the drawer. Decorated with a lot of fussy cut flowers, cheese cloth, seam binding . Magnolia die cut out lamp post and Marianne design umbrella die cut out.

12 Drummers Drumming
11 Pipers Piping

Lot of layering here. On all the LO I cut out one frame with the flowers on the edge and one with  the plain frame. Layered with pop dots between each. Distressed all the edges with distress tool and scissor. Then I cut out some of the other left over flowers from the 2. frame and glued them on with pop dots.
Sorry I don`t remember the brand of the lamp post

Frame is made from a Spellbinders die.

Gorgeous Flowers from Petaloo distressed with white paint dabber

Fun to use them together with leaf fussy cut outs from the papers

Used a frame from the paper collection and cut out the middle. Glued on hinges on 3 sides so it creates a pocket. Light pink ribbon on the side and leaf trim on the outside frame

There is a tag in the pocket so there is place for 3 photos on this side.

  1. Good afternoon Anne, Wow! Your Christmas lantern project and these amazing layouts are just so beautiful. I just thought I'd stop by your blog to say a HUGE "Thank You" to you personally for all your wonderful inspiration this year. I know that my crafting has improved by leaps and bounds because of all your wonderful projects. One particular project springs to mind and that was your "slider tag". I had never made anything other than cards up until then but when I saw this project it literally changed how I saw things. I made a Christmas version of this tag and it left the recipient absolutely speachless! and I've got YOU to thank for that. As I've already said my crafting has changed dramatically because of the generosity of people like yourself, Clare Charvill and, come to think of it, all the Graphic 45 design team. So once again, Thank You for sharing your amazing talent with all of your fans. It only remains for me to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year.

  3. Hi, i'm new in scrapbooking, and you are my biggest inspiration! I love your work, it is just amazing...
I have a question for you. Since i am also from Europe (Croatia) and we don't have many scrapbook or craft shops, where can i buy paper on line? I tried to buy it from ebay, but there is not a big choice, and all those beautiful Graphic 45 papers have a very expensive shipping, over 20$. Do you have some place where i can buy papers, where the shipping isn't so costly? Thank you so much...
Merry Christmas to you and your family, and keep on going, you are doing an amazing job, so inspiring...
