Wild Orchid Crafts Christmas ornaments- Tutorial



Hi Everyone :-)
Linda at livartnow and I challenge each other make some Christmas ornaments and decorations with Wild Orchid Crafts beautiful flowers and trims.Wild Orchid Crafts design team project.

Here is what I came up with

The first is made from a styrofoam ball. Used 16 pins on top and bottom of the styrofoam  and added WOCseam binding around the pins.Then added flowers sprayed with Lindystampgang Moon shadow mist Golden Doubloons. Trim from Annies Etsy shop

This Ornament is about 24 inch loooong lol

Also made a heart basket.Great to give to a friend with some goodies inside :-)
The basket is woven with seam binding


Lace and cheese cloth from Kreativ Scrapping
Perl spray and seam binding from WOC.

On the other side a bird from Prima and made a nest in the bottom

Then I made a candle light holder. Will explain in the video how it was made.

Cut acetate at 5 1/4 x 3 1/2
Be sure to use an electric candle for this paper lantern!

  1. All are absolutely beautiful Anne! I love all the lace and seam binding. The flowers and sprays are lovely additions, and I am so glad you used that metal piece under the ball ornament; I have a few of those (I bought some for another project) and you've inspired me to use them this way too! Thank you! Love the lantern... how pretty it would look at night on the mantel!

    BTW, I finally finished my Steampunk journal - I was following your "How To Make A Mini Album From Start To Finish" video series... and I even made my first video! I hope you can stop by to see it. Thank you so much for your instructions - I never would have tried anything like it if not for you!
