G45 The Twelve Days of Christmas romantic and soft staples tag mini album. Tag serial 1

Hi Everyone :-)
Had so fun making this The Twelve Days of Christmas staples tag mini album . Have tried to follow the theme of the Twelve Day`s of Christmas and cut out strips of the each theme. Also used Core dinations papers.
This is a Graphic 45 Design team project and there will be 6 different post on how to use the staples tags
In this first post I will explain in the video how it was made and also show how you easy can cover the pages and tags with papers. On the others tag series  there will be posted  pictures and measurements how to put the base together

Front of the album
Used white paint dabber and  Pan pastel through the hole album and all the edges are distressed with Tim Holtz distress tool. Used 4 large tags and one regular tag. Cut down about 3/4 - 1 1/2 and 2 1/4 on 3 of the large tags.
The Happy Christmas die is from cheery lynn and the umbrella die is from Memory box.Laces from Kreativ scrapping

The first tag folds out to the right
Spellbinders fence die and butterfly punch from Martha Stewart
All the images and fussy cut outs  are covered with Claudine Hellmut multi matte

Bench die is from Marianne design

The2. and the other tags fold out to the left

Gazebo die from Spellbinders

Made a pocket for the Twelve Days of Christmas tag and there is a " Hidden" page behind.
Will show how it works in the video. The frame can also be used for a photo.

Tag flip out page

The "hidden" page behind the tag. Fastened with magnets.

To get the same shape on the tags as the tag album I copy it down to 90 - 70 - 60 and 50% on my copy machine and used them as templates for the tags.

Next tag page
Used a spellbinders gate die for a pocket and cut out some pears, flowers, birds and images

Pocket from the cardstock cut outs is fastened with a magnet so there is place for a photo behind and also on the tags.

Last pages
F>ussy cut this beautiful Lady and the umbrella and chair die is from Marianne design.

Here is a flip out  frame page in the middle made from Vintage cabinet dies from TH. It is open on both sides so a photo can slides in

Back side of the album

Made this album as a Christmas present for a good friend that likes soft colors so I
made a label tag to use on the Christmas Package.

On the back side I can write a personal message.
Tag cut out from the cardstock cut outs.

  1. Another great project Anne! So beautiful... lucky lady who receives this awesome gift!

I bought this paper pad just last week, and got the stickers today; how perfect that you should feature this set -- after I am finished my current mini book (from your "start to finish" tutorial), I can hardly wait to start using these!

Have a wonderful weekend - it's a long weekend here in Canada, snow is starting to fall, so it's a good three days to create in the Studio ;)

  5. Dear Anne, How absolutely beautiful! You have taught me so much over the past year as I have watched you create these beautiful things! I think I may just have the courage now to cut into my pretty G45 papers for the Nutcracker Sweet and run to the store tomorrow for the 12 Days of Christmas, too! Thank you so very much! Emmy
