Steampunk Spells base House Stand Tutorial

Hi everyone :-)

Here is a tutorial on how the Steampunk Spells house stand is made.

This is a Graphic 45 Design Team project and will link to theyr blog as soon as it is published. 

Used 2 5 x 3 matchboxes  from Graphic 45 as a base and the chipboard for the house is from Accucut Craft.All the other pieces are cut out from 1.9 mm chipboard.

The house, doors, lamp post and fence is painted with Tim Holtz black Crackle paint

 Paintet the 2 matchboxes black

and cut out 4 strips chipboard 11 x 1  1/2 ( minus a bit ) 

and 8 strips 3 3/4 x 1  1/2 ( minus a bit ) 

The chipboard I used is 1.9 mm thick so you might have to adjust it if you are using an other thickness

The largest door measure 4 inch hay on the largest side and 3 1/5 on the other side. 1 3/4 wide

Added 1/4 strips chipboard around

The rounded door measure 3 on the largest side and 2 on the other side.3/8 wide

Used glue gun to make the texture.

Crackle painted

Top and bottom measure 11 x 3 1/2

cut in 1/4 in the middle where the door is going on the top plate

Template for the house

crackle paint glued it on the back

Used acetate for the windows and colored the in all corners with a yellow and brown Copic marker

Then cut out one more template in black cardstock and glue it on the bac

 Template for lamp post, and shelves on the backside for lights

Used On the edge Fence die from Tim Holtz

You can also make the fence if you dont have this die.

Pop up from the drawer

Cut 10 strips of black cardstock 1 7/8 and score every 2 inch

Glue together as show bellow

Then start folding and glue on new strips when needed

Supply list:

2- 3 x 5 matchboxes from Graphic 45. 2 metal lable holders, key and hey hole also from G45

Chipboard from Accucut Craft. Fence and tree die, lantern light,bottles and black Clackle paint from Tim Holtz.

Black paint from Claudine Hellmuth,Cain.door closure,metal bike from Etsy,Wire, acetate for the windows,Copic markers,black thread,wood stick
