The Twelve Days of Christmas layout

Hi everyone :-) Had so fun making this 12 x 12 layout with the the gorgeous new The Twelve Days of Christmas  collection . So many beautiful images to cut out so it was hard to choose! Have to make some more lol. Did a lot of fussy cutting and distressed the edges with distress tool and white paint dabber.
Also went over all the papers random with pan pastel. Glued on medium weight chipboard.
The outside frames is layered 2 times with pop dots. The first layer i cut out the frame with the edge flower and the top frame is just the frame . All is covered with Claudine Hellmuth Multi Matte. Cut a key and glued it on the key hole so it looks like the hey is inside.

This is a Graphic 45 Design Team project and here is the link to the blog post,

Used cheese cloth under the beautiful lady ,frame and also in the corners
Flowers are pop up with 3D foam.

Also had to cut out this beautiful swan smelling a flower :-)
In the corner there is a pearl spray and leaf trim that goes to the top and in the right corner

Key and key hole painted white and distressed with Pan pastel raw umber tint and permanent red tint.
The key is cut and glued together with the key hole.
Here you also can see the dimensional layering.

Made a frame in the center. Fussy cut out a tag with flowers and and glued it on core`dinations signature light pink paper. Made a tag with Tim Holtz Pediments die on the top.It can be placed 3 different photos here and change them around.

Close up picture of the frame and lady with some pigeons watching it all.
Used hinges on 3 sides to make the tag slide in.

Supply list:

  7. Anne, you have mentioned several times that you appreciate comments, well I have one that I have wanted to write for a long time. So this special lady is for you. First I want to say I am just astounded and speechless at your talent, your creativity, and most of all your willingness to share it. I am sure you are aware of all the wonderful talented gals and guys here on the internet and I am sure most of them are wonderful and caring people but what makes you different and a standout in my eyes is the fact that you share FOR FREE. You not only share videos but you pretty much hold our hands as you walk us through step by step how you create your pieces on your blog. Many of us can not afford 'TO PAY' to watch 'private' videos and UStreams and/or pay for a written tutorial. Many times I will see something beautiful on a webpage and a note to find the tutorial on their blog only to go there and find out you have to pay for it. It seems that more and more of the artists that used to share so freely are now expecting payment for their ideas. They will do a video but you must pay for the tutorial to get the dimensions etc. I think many of us appreciate beautiful works of art but do not have that god given talent to come up with these ideas on our own but we still want to use our own hands to create the pieces and put a bit of ourselves into them.

So Anne I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for offering this beautiful part of you to us your adoring fans!!

P.S. I do want to add that I know there are MANY MANY talented gals that offer free videos and I do want to thank them and when I use their ideas I do thank them on their blogs.
