Graphic 45 French country double tag

Hi Everyone:-)

Had so fun making this double tag with the gorgeous vintage French country papers from Graphic 45.
My friends Linda and Malin challenge each other to make a tag with 3 different scrapbook supplies and one non scrapbook item that we each chose. The rest was free. This was a bit of a challenge but I got to use it all:-) Made this before I got my Design Team Package From G45 so this is made from  left overs.
Explain in the video what we used.
Would have been fun if others also challenge each other and see what they come up with :-)
Here is what I came up with!

Inside there are some tags.

This can be used as a card and there is place inside for some photos.
The window dies I used are from Spellbinders.

On the back side I used  G45 Antique metal door pull  to make a bird nest and Spellbinders Lattice die to create a background on the tag.

Close up picture.
Used Antique metal door pull for the bird nest and the eggs are made off Delight clay

Questions will be answered in the next question answered video

Thanks for stopping by and for your always sweet comments :-)

  4. Since I consider you the Mistress of Fussy Cutting, I wanted to share with you an epiphany I had. I have noticed that when trying to cut a tight clockwise cut, my hand and scissors bump into the item (which you can't cut away like the waste on counter-clockwise cuts). As I work in Operating Rooms, I knew there existed angled scissors that would position your hands below the cutting surface. I recently purchased these scissors (http://www.excelta.com/product_categories/self-opening-scissors/products/4-1-2-angled-self-opening-scissors). They are a bit over 33 US dollars, which is expensive. But, considering how much I have wasted trying to find good "fussy-cutting" scissors, I think the price is reasonable. The angled blades keep your hands and the scissors below the plane of the paper, so very tight turns are no problem. Here is an example of a fairly detailed cut I recently did with these scissors. (http://www.flickr.com/photos/carolmelancon/8952289608/) Note the small spines on the fish fins which were easy to accomplish with these scissors. If you think you would be interested in these, I would be happy to send a pair to you as a RAK in thanks for all your wonderful inspiration.
