Tutorial bottle box - hat - tag - Grass - tag - bottle

Here are some pictures and some measurements for the box, hat and bottle

Measurements for the top of the box

I used 1,9 mm thick chipboard, but if you cant find it you can layer 2 together

Measurements for the box
You need to measure the bottle to see how hay the box need to be

painet all the outside edges with distress stain

Cut 1 inch strips of Bazzil prismatics papers and score at 1/2 inch.
You can also use tyvek envelopes( very strong )
And glue them on one sides

Lay all the chipboard pieces side by side and glue down the hinges

Distressed the edges of the papers with distress tool

Distressed the papers

and also the hinges

Glue down the papers. If you want to attach something on the outside with eyelets then glue down the papers inside after all the outside embellishments ( did that with the steampunk bottle box)

Leave a bit open on the left side of the paper and glue down the front

Glue on the bottom piece

Glue hinges on the outside. Be sure to use a lot of glue in the Splicing as show bellow

Also paper in the bottom

Used ornament die to make the form for shelf

Also decided to use the rest for the top of the box. You need to measure depends on how thick the chipboard you use

Measurement for the shelf

Measurements for shelf. You need to adjust abit depends on the thickness of the chipboard you use

Glue together with hinges

Like so :-)

Sanding the edges

Glue hinges around

Distress ink the edges

Hinges on the inside to make it strong

Sand the edges of the topof the shelf

Distress the papers for shelf

Now it should look like this :-)

Find an image you want to use on the front

 Making grass
Cut a lot of thin strips from left over papers

Spray with water and curl up

 Use random with distress ink

 Making a hat

You can use oval movers and shapers die ore punch
2 different sizes and Cut a strip for the side.
Glue as show on the picture ( i used score tape)

Wet the paper a bit and roll up the sides

Glue the side on the top oval

An other oval to cover

Glue down the brim of the hat

Glue a strip of paper inside the hat to cover up the glued hinge and make it a bit stronger

Now the hat is finish to decorate

Finish hat

Used Copic and distress ink to color a yellow bottle

Tag colored with distress inks and sistress gold stain
Had not to be precise because i fussy cut it out

One coat of Multi matte so the colour not will flout out

The i used crackle accent and glued it on a tag when it was dry

Hope this was helpful
Have fun creating :-)
