Hello everyone. here is the new mini album in the cradle. 

I used both the 12x12 and 8x8 little darlings paper collections from Graphic45 and had so much fun fussy cut all the images.

Here is how the pages are made.

Cut  10 1/2 x 9 1/2

Scor at 1/2 and 5  and turn around and scor at 1/2 and 8 1/2

Cut iut the rest as you see on the picture and fold so it create a pocket.

I used 5 of this pockets in my album

Glue it on  page binding where the hinges are

Baby shower gift ideas

I used the gorgeous Little Darlings collection from Graphic 45 for this project.

this was so fun to make and hope you can get some ideas :-)

Bellow there are some pictures how i made it .For the cradle i used Tim Holtz on the edge Plaque and Postag die.

If you  want you can copy it .I have asked Tim if  i could post it so you can use it and he said yes :-)

Made hinges from Tyvek envelopes for the hinges. You can get them in office supply stores.

"mm. chipboard for all

Music box

Cut a strip 3x12 chipboard and cut half way through 3 - 6 and 9 inch

2 pieces 3x3 inch

Use 1 inch hinges around the box and for the top and bottom 

If you want you can put in a music box. I found this on Ebay. 

Use a drill to make the hole

Spellbinders label one die for the frame with hinges

Have fun creating :-)

Pleated paper for the curtain and fabric inside. Fussy cut a lot of butterfly`s and glued them on ribbon.

Large butterfly made of seam bindnig, painted metal butterfly from G45 and petal from iamroses.

Piano music box for the Curtain Call album

Hello everyone. Final  the piano box for the curtain call photo album is finish :-) 

This was so fun to make and i really enjoyed making it.

The paper i used is Curtain Call, Kraft Reflections and Olde Curiosity Shoppe.

On the right side it is a handle for the music player

There is a pocket on the back side for the fan and file folder

Hope you enjoy this scrapbook  tutorial on how to make the page, insert, page thread binding and cover. for a photo mini album.
This tutorial is for the Curtain Call photo album, but you can use it for any type of album you want. You can also adjust the measurements if you want an other size.
The Curtain Call paper collection is from Graphic 45

Page measurement

Insert measurement 

Hinges for binding and back spine. the yellow shall be 3/4 x 10

Measurements for the cover

Painted black so the white binding (Tyvek envelope) does not show

Here is what it looks like when the pages are bind to the back spine

Also used Tyvek envelopes on the outside to bind the cover together
