Graphic 45 Happy Haunting spooky Halloween house box for mini album

Graphic 45 Happy Haunting spooky Halloween house box for mini album

Video

Want to share my latest project with you. It is a spooky Halloween house with a photo mini album inside. Made it so it would be inspiring and fun for children to put in pictures.
I used the Happy Haunting Collection 12x12 and 8x8, stickers, chipboard die cuts and metal hinges. All from Graphic45.
Also used sizzix, Tim Holtz and QuicKutz  dies. Martha Stewart punches and multi matte form Claudine Helmuth.

Did a lot of mixed media and used glossy accent, crackle assent and embossing powder on most of the images.

This was so fun to make :-)

Happy hunting :-),

The house opens at the top and folds out
Used the hinges from Graphic 45 for the fold outs.
From the side

Here is how it look on the back of the box

From the other side

This top is what hold the house together
The bird and bats are from the paper line and glossy / crackle accented
The bat on the wire is from QuicKutz

The tree stump is made of clay. Painted green / black and used sticklels
Here is some pictures how it started and measurements

I am happy if you can use it and make your own house :-)

Right side

Left side

Cut strips of Tyvek envelopes to fasten the house on the floor

Here is a template with some measurements.
I drew around it so i  knew where to glue down the house

Mounted seen from the top

I did cut out a bit more than you see here to get the mini album to fit inside

Roof templates
The top ( closure ) for the house

Glued them together with stripes of Tyvek envelopes

Next step with fence

Roof alsu glued on with Tyvek envelopes
Had to fill in a bit with molding paste to get it to fit

Measurements for the box

Mounted with strips of Tyvek envelopes
Used 4 metal hinges from Graphic45

Also used 2 smaller hinges from Graphic 45 for the door

Painted the house black. Then purple and bruch over some black paint again to gett an old look
