I absolutely love this album and cabinet. I am having trouble tho figuring out how you put the awning together, other than fan folding it! is there any chance of a tutorial on that part?
ReplyDeleteI am glad you like it an that you also will make it :-) There is no tutorial on the awning, but after you have folded the paper you put one strong thread true it all in both sides and one in the middle. Then you make a canal between the threads ( 2 of them) and take the threads inside so all ends up in one side. Hope this make sense. I am not so good at explaining in writing lol Have fun creating :-)
ReplyDeleteHugs, Anne
Anne, thanx a lot for that. Not sure if I understand but will try what i think it means. I've had a lot of fun creating the album and now the cabinet. I have just gotten home from visiting my hubby in hospital, so i work on it a little before i go to visit him and when i get back. It's getting there!! I hope you are going to do another mini album with G45 Ladies Diary.
ReplyDeleteHope you can figure it out. It is so fun to make and i am glad you have made the album and box.Have a lot of projects going on so i am not sure if i am going to make a tutorial on the ladies diary yet. Also hope your hubby soon is better soon.

I am attempting to make the shadow box for the Olde Curiosity Shoppe album. Your work is stunning and I loved following your videos on making the album. However, I am puzzled as to how to string the cord to make the venetian curtain on the box. Can you explain how to do that? Thank you.
