Graphic 45 design team 2012 audition

Here is my 6 submissions for the Graphic 45 design team call.

From the first time i got my hands on the G45 papers i fell in love. They are so special and fun to work with. Special i like to fuzzy cut images and put them on different projects.
There are so many possibility`s with your paper lines

Here i created a flower pot. I used black chipboard  and different G45 papers .
In the front i used a paper with a clock image and made it into a real clock.
The clockwork is placed inside the pot.
I love clocks and have them all over in my home lol

project 1

This flower pot was so fun to create and i will make a video on YouTube where i will show how to create a template for this and also how to put it together

:-)

Close up picture.
Made some tags behind the clock image.

Close up photo from the back side of the pot.
Here i used a Sizzix frame so it also can be used as a picture frame.

The pot is decorated with a lot of laces, trims, tassel , flat back pearls , feathers and bling.
The big flower is G45 metal flower with a metal button in the center.

Here you can see the clockwork inside

Place for hidden message on the bottom lol

project 2
I created a fan with feather that can be used on different projects

For the fan i used different papers that i layered and a small lace.
Fussy cut the lady and used some old buttons that i painted black and sanded. Binded them on a wire
back the fan there is feathers that i glued on a toggle

The metal flowe was painted in black and then sanded. Also put some clear crystal bling  on to create a water effect

Project 3
3D Photo frame
Here i used Curtain Call paper collection and fuzzy cut the images.
Black lace around and a metal flower that i layered with paper flowers that i punched out .

This frame can also be used as a clock.

Also like to finish up the back

The back side can also be used  decorated with the fan

Project 4
Curtain Call mini album and stand.
This stand was created using black chipboard and i measured the album so it would fit.
There is a video of this project on my Youtube channel

Here is how it looks when the mini is out of the stand.

Open album

Also like to finish the back, and here there is place for a large photo.

Project 5
Tropical Travelogue mini album
I have made an 8 part ( 14 videos) tutorial on how to make this mini from start to finish. And one video where i show the finish album. The tutorial serial start with this album.
There are now embellishments in this album and just a few tools needed  because there are many people that don`t have so many tools. I also wanted to show those who are new to scrapbook that a mini can be easy to make
There is pictures of all the pages in an older post on this site.

Project 6
Here is another 3D frame with ABC Primer collection.
Down bellow on this page there is a tutorial with pictures that shows how to create this frame

Thank you for the chance to participate.
I had so much fun creating some new things for the design team call :-)

How to make an 3d frame

The paper is from G45 ABC Primer collection
Size of the frame is 8x6 and inside there is place for a 6x4 photo
The images was fuzzy cut out of the paper collection and cowered with Claudine Hellmuth multi matte medium. Then i edged the papers with a black marker and glued it to the frame.
Some of the images where popped up with 3d dots. In the right corner i have used an clock that i don`t use any more and placed a flower from G45 over. The school day sign is placed behind the clock paper strip. I used 3 layers paper 1/4 inch and glued them together so the sign can stay over the frame

This frame was created the same way that i show in how to make a mini album from start to finish part 5b where i show how to make the angles.

How to :
Cut 2 strips of paper at 8 x 2 1/2 and 2 strips at 6 x 2 1/2
One background paper at 8 x 6

if you want an other size just change the measurements

Fold as you see on the picture

Cut the angles the same way that i show in the video on how to make a mini album from start to finish - part 5b

Fold out it shall now look like this

Snip of the ends like show bellow

fold the paper to create the 3d effect and use glue on the 1/2 inch sides

Now it is ready to glue on your background paper

The most easy way to glue it down is to lay all 4 strips together as a frame up side down and glue a triangular paper on the inside in the corners, and then glue it all to the background paper.

Now the frame is ready to be decorated

If you want the frame to stand up like this cut a paper at 6 x 12 and score at 2 and 10.
Fold in the score marks and glue the frame in the middle of the paper.

Make an angle on both sides about 1/2 inch from the outside and into the bottom of the frame

Wish you all a great day and thanks for visit my blog .

Have fun creating :-)
